that they decide a ten year term in a primary election.

Although the turn out was actually pretty good - for a primary.

Total was 968 to 874 or 1.83 million total votes.

Total in 2012 was 1.62 to 1.41 or 3.03 million votes.

So about 60% for the primary. That's probably comparable to the Governor's race in off years.

Close - 2.37 million votes in the 2014 Governor's election. Okay, maybe not as close as I thought - only 77%. But their 2014 election may be high for an off year as well. Comes out to 78% of 2012 compared to only 73.8% for Kansas.
