this is a rant about the forgotten ones [View all]

The Democratic Party used to care about the
everyday working people, but has since the
90ties not paid attention to them (may be even
earlier.)

Everyone talks about education, and I don't want
to minimize it, because we need educated
citizens .
Yet here is my point: How many people among all
workers really need an MBA, a college degree to do
the following:

Drive a truck or bus,
paint a house or rooms,
do carpentry,
trim trees and bushes,
work on cars as mechanics,
pour cement or work on roads,
cut hair,
work in a shop,
work on small farms,
welders or plastic workers,
put up roofs or repair them?

I think you get what I mean. Whatever you want to
call them, blue collar workers or anything else, these
people have been forgotten for a long time by our party;
and that is a shame.

a lot of these people are NOT stupid, but they
are the ones going either for Bernie or for Trump,
because they feel that both parties don't care about them.

I don't know the percentage of those workers in
comparison of those with degrees, but I think it
may be substantial.

We have to concentrate on them, instead of leaving
them to Trump or the repugs.

Thank you for reading this.
