Do the survivors and families really want to hear this guy try to distance himself and save his ass?
He wants to try to make sure he doesn't end up fbi prey.

now they say that in 4th grade he (the shooter) talked about bringing a gun to school and shooting people.

definitely warped from an early age.
wonder what his childhood was like.

take a warped mind add jihadist videos add a brutal homophobic environment add easy access to guns.
