In reply to the discussion: Bye, bye, Debbie. [View all]Moonwalk
(2,322 posts)52. Okay, I'm a little confused. I always thought that we lost a lot of seats because....
...of the tea bagger movement that came into being just after Dean left and pretty much swept it's way through America, and also thanks to black lash hatred of Obama. The NRA's power and the Supreme Court decisions that brought in Voter I.D. and corporations able to buy elections. All of which happened during Debbie's watch.
I mean, I don't mean to naive here...but telling me what Dean left us vs. what Debbie now has doesn't necessarily indicate cause/effect. That's simply a "post-hoc-ergo-proper-hoc" statement.
Can you educate me (provide me with evidence) as to what makes this a causal relationship irregardless of those other factors and puts her squarely to blame for losing those seats?

She's one of the best Democrats out there and would be ideal for the position.

I would disagree with your assessment of her being one the "best" Democrats out there

Hillary's hired her for her campaign post convention. Done deal. Or do you mean after Trump wins?

Because there is nothing better in a chief of staff than someone who undermines democracy?

Since nobody "undermined democracy", I have no clue what you are talking about. eom

DNC rules undermine democracy with those Super-D's. But no political party has to be democratic...

Good riddance. Too bad she couldn't have resigned before tarnishing the entire party

Should have happened when she denied the Bernie campaign access to their own database.
