I understand in Nice they are still angry and reeling from a terrorist attack. I understand that Western-thinking people want to say "get with the times or we'll make you get with the times."

But I've seen a very similar outfit as in the OP pic on Florida and California beaches. It's called a wet suit. It's not offensive to me, unless the woman herself does not want to wear it.

I completely agree with lostinfound who said the women lose either way.
