(34,189 posts)I was knocked in the head by a horse and was out for about ten minutes. A week or so later, went to a picnic with some friends and passed out. My husband was freaked, thought it was something to do with the concussion. At the emergency room they said I passed out from hyperventilation, but I started that when I came to while they were driving me to the hospital because I was panicked.
I've come close to passing out from over heating - spots in front of my eyes, feeling woozy - while working on the farm - I ran the hose over my head to cool off quickly. Twice after injuries - getting hit in the face with a horse's head and getting bitten on the breast, crushing the outside half of the breast - I went down to my knees, fighting shock while walking back to the house from the barn.
Then there were the other three concussions but those were not faints.
