3. Dems lack adequate response to rethug obstructions

The worrying part of this is that democratic party officials do not seem to catch on to the games the rethugs play. It takes democrats a long while to get themselves to believe that such things are happening. Then even much longer time to come up with appropriate and effective responses.

So I am not sure that the rethugs will not get away with this behavior because when a rethug gets to be president democrats will not even dream of blocking that president efforts to load up the agencies with rethugs that will be there for ages and effectively preventing any corrections when a dem comes back to the presidency.
