48. the eastern part of Ohio is coal country

one of the largest coal companies, Murray Energy, headquartered in the eastern part of Ohio and Mr. Murray HATES Democrats with a passion

the local newspapers are pretty much hardcore right wing and hate Democrats and the EPA almost as much as he does

the EPA is the devil killing jobs in the area; they don't want any regulation of the coal industry because it's bad for jobs

HOWEVER, the same people advocating for coal are some of the same ones who are going after the oil fracking industry in the area

one coal group is suing a company because the company has contracted with a town north of me to either install an oil powered electric plant or maybe retrofit an existing one; can't remember and too lazy to google it right now

the plant is behind schedule because the coal group is suing the company; the coal group is holding up maybe 30 or 40 decent paying jobs because if they can't have their way, they don't want anyone else to

similar coal groups are going after the frackers because of the gases that are released during the process; they're using environmental laws to try and shut the frackers down

can anyone else say hypocrites?
