In a complex audit, the taxpayer rarely brings every bit of documentation with them at the first meeting. They are ordered to return with the require info in xxx days/weeks. There are all kind of ways to extend that time. At each meeting the taxpayer is missing yet another document. I NEVER side with the Con, but in this case it COULD BE TRUE.
