They did the same thing in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, publishing every scrap of misinformation Judith Miller could squeeze under a byline. And in 2004, when they had everything they needed to publish the story of the Bush administration's warrantless wiretapping, but sat on it until after Bush was safely re-elected because they didn't want to influence the 2004 election by, you know, sullying the campaign with a bunch of pertinent facts about the incumbent.

And here we are again in 2016, and the Times is just now figuring out how useful their idiotic reporting was during the presidential campaign. The watchword this time around is "unwitting."

If Edward R. Murrow was alive today to see what has become of the Fourth Estate, he's never stop throwing up.
