President Obama has always been a gracious person. He thinks that Trump might be able to learn. I don't share his generosity of spirit. I think that people are capable of change, but you have to look at the probability. Trump for the entire 70 years of his existence, has been about himself. Either because he had to prove himself to win his father's approval, or as a result of that failure and his own hedonism. He has rarely shown the tendency to care about other people. Whereas President Obama has compassion, empathy, and is a positive person. He thinks that people can be redeemed, and as I said, they can, just not Trump. Mainly because Trump does not want to be redeemed. He wants to be adored without acting in a way that makes him even likable. The problem is that he has always had enough money that he could buy the adoration.

I respect President Obama, but I think he is wasting his time with Trump.
