The can win the election, but they will never win the war of humorous creativity.

They simply have no sense of humor to go into battle with.

"Mallard Fillmore"? The funniest thing about that is somebody somewhere is writing a letter-to-the-editor complaining "Mallard Fillmore" belongs on the comics pag instead of the editorial page because all other comic strips are left-wing propaganda.

True story. You can't make this stuff up.
