In reply to the discussion: This Is Why Hillary Clinton Supporters Are Upset About the Womens March [View all]Croney
(4,657 posts)53. Oh for pete's sake.
All I've seen today and tonight here in DC are women and men joyously united in a common goal: to join together tomorrow in support of human rights of all kinds. I was as big a Hillary supporter as anybody. Whether her name is on a list or not, I just love her to death. But I'm not wearing any Hillary buttons or t-shirt tomorrow, I'm wearing a pink pussyhat and a coat that just happens to be pink. My husband will be marching in support of women's rights and especially my right to express who I am.
Nobody's going to argue or fight over anything except how in the world we're going to take our country back in four years if not before.

OP
Click on the link and go sign the petition. Are the people organizing the march morons? No Hillary?

You complain about "divisive, dividing, hurtful stuff" and then drag Nader out?

I don't know how I'd feel about joining a protest and being marginalized, myself.

The organizer used Clinton's words as the guiding principle, but refuses to credit the quotation.

It isn't "postmortem" news. People who agree w Linda Sansour are trying to frame it

This is not a Democratic protest, its a progressive protest and Hillary is not part of their club

I can think of one or two other things they should be a lot more upset about.

Maybe she didn't want to be included. Regardless, we all must unite to defeat a common enemy.

How were the names selected? Did organizers agree to each pick someone...
