came into our community and then increased their numbers and built a high tech jail, it was like living with an occupying force. They drove through neighborhoods, watched field workers with binoculars all day, sat outside the Hispanic grocery store all day, attended every emergency call from state patrol and sheriff's office, pulled over all traffic leaving the Peninsula for citizenship checks, spied on people in their homes and more. They transported an American citizen to the ICE jail in Seattle because he did not have proof of citizenship and looked Hispanic. His family had to hire a lawyer to get him out - which took a while.

Their directive apparently had no limits until Patty Murray and our local rep. got involved. At that, they BP refused to talk with them because their activities were "secret." Murray fixed that in about 2 minutes.

One BP officer testified to Congress that they had nothing to do and it was a waste of money so the other officers seriously harassed him and his family. Another officer choked his superior in a meeting.

I fear for the future with these people. They want to use their power and this awful administration will not do anything to pull them back. They love their authority and will use it as they wish.

BTW: the local law enforcement agencies can't stand the BP.
