13. I agree with you. I cut it out about ten years ago.

I still manage to stay aware of current events without banging my head against the stupid every five minutes.

I watch occasional PBS special series, or movies via DVD, but the vast majority of the time the TV is silent. And the older I get, the more I like that silence. It gives me time to think.
