One of my best buddies is a disabled vet who lives in rural Northern Michigan. They've reduced his food, they've made it harder for find a hospital. Now he just got a letter saying his disability payments are under review and he'll have to prove he's disabled again by jumping through several hoops. Told me if they reduce his benefits even a little bit more he won't be able to survive. Says he'll probably just kill him self if they take his way of staying alive.
If you haven't been paying attention, they've been talking about going after disability payments for years.

My brother is in a nursing home on medicaid/medicare. We can't care for him at home anymore.

If they block grant Medicaid or repeal its expansion, a LOT of nursing homes will close their doors.
