... doesn't want to be labelled "deplorable" should stop acting deplorably.

This notion that Dems have failed to "message to all people" is ludicrous on its face. Our message has been clear: We stand for the betterment of ALL citizens via affordable healthcare for ALL, voting rights for ALL, tolerance for and acceptance of ALL, jobs for ALL, etc.

The Deplorables soundly rejected that message by voting for Trump/Republicans who consistently stand for exclusion, and the elimination of programs and initiatives that serve ALL rather than the few.

"We had that in the FDR days."

What we didn't have in the FDR days was FOX-News literally brainwashing the populace. We didn't have RW hate radio promoting the scapegoating of minorities, and convincing people to vote against their own best interests. We didn't have 24/7 news outlets giving airtime to politicians who outright LIE without challenging them, or presenting the facts that disprove those lies.

We didn't have an internet where utterly ridiculous stories are widely circulated within minutes, and become accepted as "fact" merely because they've been repeated thousands of times per hour.

In this last election, the Democrats spoke out loud and clear to EVERY voter, not just those of their own party. They were abundantly clear as to their position on issues that affect ALL Americans - and saying otherwise flies in the face of reality.
