tRump is feeling the walls closing in on him and his whole sordid mess of a presidency. He will do anything and everything to try to make things go back to the way he wants. No scandals. No investigations. A Congress that co-operates completely. He is flailing and failing but his fall back strategy is always to distract and deflect blame.

It has worked for him in the past so why not use it now? The problem is he didn't have a mandate and even some of the people who voted for him were not gung-ho. So as the wheels come off the bus it is evident this thing is a hopeless mess. Don't be surprised at anything delusional Don does as his world caves in around him. A rabid animal that is cornered will snarl, scratch and bite in a last ditch effort to avoid being caught.
