10. He should be feared

The most powerful world leader has dementia, and that is definitely something to be feared. Dementia and narcissistic personality disorder by themselves are not something to be feared. At this point, I don't know how many dozens of mental health professionals have agreed that this is the proper diagnosis and that something must be done. The way I see it, denial of the diagnosis or wanting to call the diagnosis by terms other than the proper clinical ones is more damaging.

HRC was aware of the stigma attached to mental illness and wanted to have a national discussion on the topic in order to reduce that stigma. Now we have Republicans who do stigmatize mental illness doing whatever is necessary to hide tRump's condition. This stigmatizing, denial, and hiding is something to be feared, not the illness itself.

Think of how many pictures, cartoons, and articles have been written about tRump acting like a child. For instance, two weeks ago there was an article posing as a letter Ivanka wrote to a babysitter. It included instructions on how to deal with Donald. When you see something like this, do you get upset? You should, because they are trivializing mental illness and demonstrating how we should make fun of those who are mentally ill. That's part of the media's scam that we have fallen for. If a person who does not have a mental illness is made fun of, then we can laugh because he or she is simply be called out on bad behavior or a lapse of good judgement. We are doing the same thing to tRump, but he has been diagnosed with mental illness. I said that it was dissatisfying to make fun of tRump because there is an expectation that he will rectify his behavior, but that is simply not possible. The true horror here is that we continue to treat him like he is mentally competent and ignore the obvious fact that he is far from ok.

I want to be completely clear that I am not making fun of tRump or his mental illness. I am stating that we must see his behavior for what it is and call on our leadership to put things right. He needs help. He cannot be in the WH.
