His only defense is that a partisan decision was made.

One good thing it that he admitted that a JUNIOR lawyer on his staff brought it up to him that there may be a belief that he was impacting the election.

I emphasized JUNIOR because he did, thus pointing out the person will remain a JUNIOR and anyone on staff with similar beliefs will remain a JUNIOR.
