I'm a Christian and I quit going to church because even the ones who don't believe all the right wing crap don't have the guts to stand up and challenge it. The church in the U.S. in particular is an abomination. I've walked out of more churches than I can count and I've challenged them on their beliefs but I'm one of the few in this area who will.
