Comey invited to a CLOSED hearing before Senate Intel Tuesday, sources

6. One premise: Comey's firing could indicate he had come across something new.

1.) In the the time since Comey's last closed door testimony and yesterday he could have come onto new evidence, conected more dots, and/or was comig closer to the Trump organization and likely Trump himself.

2.) Trump suspects this (because finding new evidence leaves a trace? or others are telling Trump about new lines of questions, or Trump has a mole in the F.B.I.).

3.) Trump asks Justice Department to write a negative assessment of Comey's performance.

4.) Trump fires Comey.


But now, behind closed doors, the senators can ask Comey if he had come across new information.
