6. One of my ancestors lost his seat in Congress because of opposing the Indian Removal Act

He was fighting Andrew Jackson, and lost. One of the last things he said in Congress: "You can all go to hell; I'm going to Texas". He stopped on the way to visit relatives in Altus, Arkansas, but didn't survive the trip to Texas.
