She was asking Sessions a Yes or No question: does DOJ have a written policy for the "communications with the President" objection he is was asserting. He would not say, instead meandering on how he does not want to divulge confidential conversations with the President, bla bla bla. He knew she only had a few minutes and was just filibustering her time to ask questions.
You could tell all her questions were precisely focused Yes or No questions to confirm the existence of relevant documents so she could send very specific requests for documents to DOJ. DOJ and the White House have been complaining the document requests from the committee have been too broad and too vague, and therefore have been refusing to comply.
I loved her question asking about documents he used to refresh his recollection. That is a standard question attorneys ask at depositions, and totally appropriate here, where he was clearly coached and admitted he was. That question at deposition can lead to some interesting results, especially if it reveals who they were prepped by.
