When President Nixon resigned in 1974, I was 16 and followed the news closely. At that time, I was considering a career in journalism and when I saw the political satires in MAD, I realized that comedy can be a very powerful medium for messaging.

Isn't it interesting that some of the best coverage and commentary about today's politics are on comedy shows?
