In reply to the discussion: Maryland Attorney General Just Blew The Lid Off Trumps Illegal Voter Fraud Commission [View all]SergeStorms
(19,190 posts)13. Well, it's Donald Trump we're talking about here.........
does anyone really expect him to say, "Oh, OK guys. Sorry about that".
He'll come back with different iterations of this until he either gets his way, or he ends up firing someone, or he abolishes Maryland as a State. You know what I mean. He's NOT going to let this go until he's made a total jerk out of himself ONCE AGAIN. That's what he does. That's who he is. You can now expect vicious 'tweets' about Attorney General Frosh, the State of Maryland, Democrats in general, Morning Joe and Mika, CNN, Maryland Crab Cakes, Halloween etc. etc. etc.
It's Trump, folks.

OP
Kobach's devious plan may have been to put a chilling effect on voter registrations.

The primary reason for his plan, Interstate Crosscheck, is to purge POC voter names

I'm not as worried by a voter purge as I am about other uses to which the data could be put.

I wish I could write that well. That response says so well & succinctly what I think.
