5. Nationalism is a scourge

One can still be sentimental and even proud of where you were born and raised. Appreciate the land around you, hike, fish, watch the sun go down etc... without blinder wearing adoration to the point of my country right or wrong. Of not only ignoring past wrongs, but actually living in a bubble of my country has never done anything wrong, is always in the right, is exceptional of all the countries, God loves us the most, (and we have the real God), and we worship the military and the flag as sacred.
