Look how many people come out of college with degrees they cannot turn into income, saddled with mountains of student debt, and no way to pay it back. I was speaking with a friend of mine who tends the beer bar I frequent when I'm back in NY, and he told me that he's making so little, he doesn't have to make any payments on his student loan. What a depressing concept, that your strategy for dealing with the cost of your education is to never be able to make enough money to pay it back.
