I didn't verify that information for myself.

I don't fly Delta myself, so I have no particular need to criticize nor defend them. Heck, I hate flying, period.

All I can say is that I've never had an issue with my pre-booked seat being taken away from me.
But then, I am always early.

My biggest concern in this incident was Ann's attempt to dox the poor customer who got her seat.
Whatever Ann's beef with Delta is, tweeting out the picture of that young woman was an attempt to have her harassed by the mouth-breathers to love Ann's books and racism.
