That is coming. So, even if he does attempt to pardon himself for any wrongdoing while holding federal office, he cannot escape the law in the State of NY.
That money laundering case is coming to his doorstep one way or another and soon.

I suspect that if he is advised that he cannot pardon himself as Pres., he will exact a pardon pledge from Pence and then resign.
Still...NY State charges... tick...tick...tickkkk
