Watched the water from the storm ditch behind my house come up and almost spill into the yard/house 5 times, but a lull would come just when we needed it to happen. Many others here in Beaumont were not so fortunate.

I helped with my canoe rescue stuff from my father-in-laws house before the river flooded it completely, now just helping clean up and starting to prepare to represent victims against insurance companies again for hurricane damage.
