His sister married a Latino in either the 80s or 70s. My mom says she was definitely liberal. Also she told me one time he got into a fight with his brother-in-law in almost broke out into a gun battle. I don't know her politics since I noticed only her son (my cousin) posted on Facebook but I can't access my account to know what their politics are. My brother I found out he liked Trump on Sunday over the phone but I don't know if it is racial reasons but how can you still like Trump after all the bullshit he said? His very first campaign speech he called Mexicans "rapists". So I wouldn't bet against "cultural anxiety" being a contributing factor especially since Loveland is 94%+ white so he's only been around mostly white people the last 13 years.

FTR I agree mostly with what you're saying. I think misinformation is also a big part of it as well.

They discovered Pox News, apparently. Warpy Sep 2017 #1
