to mention the names of the dead or offer any explanation of what happened, much less why the French had to go in to make the rescue and why Sgt. Johnson was left behind. I'm still not clear on whether he was already deceased or whether he was taken alive and killed after the others left. Does anyone know? "Thoughts and prayers" don't cut it this time.
