Surely that kind of accusation doesn’t increase his appeal?? Surely they are not THAT unwilling to even look at it dispassionately, but purely on the facts? I think they just can’t deal with the obvious conflict between the accusations and who Moore claims to be. So they have to cling to the idea that it is fake, made up rumors. Of course, if it was his opponent who was facing these accusations, they’d embrace it and happily let it sink his chances. Funny how that works, huh?
