(10,857 posts)Republicans have wheezed along for the better part of this decade on gerrymandering and election theft, and each success is shadier than the last. They have to secure near total-control of every districting legislative body in the country by 2020 so that they can gerrymander the country again, or they're forever gone.
I don't think there is going to be an election in 2020. I won't be entirely surprised if neither Trump nor Sanders are around to not run in that non-election.
This post is so negative I can't be sure if all of my double negatives cancel themselves out. But seriously, if any single one of you looked at this fanciful headline and thought for a minute that it could happen, you're bound to be disappointed by what happens instead. I don't think that Democrats can afford wishful thinking at this point.
