anti- England's royal family. You seem invested to a peculiarly intense degree in negativism, using a happy story to object to anyone else feeling any friendly interest in them. I mean, really? This is a happy story for many people, as Effie says.

When you think of what bigotry is, though, how is one intense hostility that has no interest in admitting anything good different from other intense hostilities that have no interest in admitting anything good? If this hostility at royals is just an indulgence you can control, maybe pull it in?
