...was scheduled to take place, Donny tweeted that clearly no deal was possible with Chuck and Nancy.

So they said, No thanks if all it is going to be is a photo op for Trump. Shockingly, they were correct: he made a big deal about the two empty chairs on either side of him, and said (among other lies) that a government shutdown would be all on them.
