Hopefully future protests will have better locations that are supportive, or maybe in your area there aren't many Dems? The honking from passing cars and trucks has always been supportive and makes me feel stronger and gives me power to carry on. When I was a teacher and union rep I attended tons of teacher protests and when the cars and trucks honked their horns we all felt great! Support is like an adrenaline shot.
