16. Would like to try it....

I believe getting more involved might help reignite my involvement in DU. I have enjoyed helping with jury duty.
When I changed my "name" I had to start a completely new account.
I meet your MIR Member requirements under my previous account as bobburgster....I was a Star member, had over 1000 posts. As bobGandolf I became turned off by the treatment of new members, and their posts.
Not sure what you new membership numbers are, but if they are stagnant, or lower, you might want to get the "mega number of post veterans" to ease up on their criticism/ridicule of new members' posts. I know it is difficult to see the same mistakes over, and over again, by new members, but a little more patience will go along way.
I will leave it up to you to decide whether my background, and opinions, would help, or hinder, as a member of the MIR Team.
