A relative of a friend had her water break long before the fetus was viable. However, it was still alive. No abortion in the hospital she was at. The next step is infection. So she lay in the hospital waiting for either the child to die or for her to get a life-threatening infection so they could abort due to mother's life being in danger. She got the infection and they did the abortion and then saved her from the infection. Lying in bed waiting for your baby, who is going to die, to die. Waiting to get deathly ill. Things like this make me want to walk up and punch someone in the face.

I suppose keeping the baby alive and letting the mother die is a false choice too.

My daughter developed HELLP Syndrome in later pregnancy and had to have a C section.
