I think that's one of the most disgusting arguments you can make in defense of Israel's oppression of the Palestinians. There were no Americans 500 years ago, so what the hell does that mean? Does that mean we don't have a right to exist free from oppression, if we were overpowered by another nation. Would we not have the human right to live in dignity and freedom because there were no such thing as Americans 500 years ago?
