but it certainly falls under hazardous chemical - formaldehyde. It is used to preserve samples. I speak from experiences after once accidentally breaking a 5 gal container of the stuff. Before I could even get to a phone, I could barely speak, before hazmat got there, the other people in the building were having symptoms too. Hazmat sent us all down to the ER. Its a very good thing this happened late at night when the OR wasn't filled with patients and a full staff. Nasty stuff - it took a week for my nose/sinus to completely stopped burning.
