(19,549 posts)13. I think the point is, there are Republicans who've come to embrace the ACA.
Granted, many if not most, because they discovered they needed it, which isn't very empathetic of them, but that's supposed to be the takeaway here. Even some Republicans have learned how the ACA benefits them more than the previous system of "you're on your own".
It's not dissimilar to how Republicans liked SS and Medicare once they realized it helped them and not just the "other" people.
