Russians either in the US or in Russia? Have any Russian citizens been in your home? etc

these were the questions asked of my friend who did federal retirement for federal employees. Her neighbors were asked if they knew of any contact with Russians by my friend and whether or not Russian were seen at her house.
FFS - how is this nest of traitors in the WH able to bypass what all federal employees are required to pass for security reasons.
