17. The reviews of Trump Wine are in, and they're not great

The wine director at a Michelin-starred Manhattan restaurant and a Brooklyn-based wine writer sampled four of Eric's wines.

Traditional Method Blanc de Blancs, $24: "pretty delicious," but doesn't know what it wants to be...it's made like a Champagne but it seems more like a Prosecco. (Later, the wine director calls this a "porch pounder" - something to sit out on the porch on a hot Virginia night and get sloshed on.)

Viogner, $24: "You know when you walk through the department store and they’re spraying perfume and you accidentally walk through it?" Their least favorite of the four.

Meritage, $20: "It tastes really cheap. It's also just really boring. Like, painfully boring."

New World Reserve, $30: "It tastes expensive but it has no soul."

This may be what happens when a man who doesn't drink alcohol tries to get into the business of making it. IIRC Trump Vodka wasn't that great either.
