(42,770 posts)orchestrate it all - the simple logistics of doing that. I suppose that wanting more money is an ingrained given. But, how and where do they decide how to make it happen? How do they do it and have the conversations so private and unrecorded? On the golf courses and private clubs? How did they all know to work on redistricting? How would they have pulled off an EVM fix? To engineer all the tax loopholes. I am convinced that the whole HMO invention must have been hatched somewhere - perhaps on a cocktail napkin....What is something that every human being has to have? Health Insurance. How can we capitalize on that? Insert an unnecessary bureaucracy so we can make money every time someone has a sore throat. I recently went to an out-of-network doctor - and it was like heaven (except for the paying part). It was like a distant childhood memory. Call the doctor, go in the very next day, sit in a small waiting room, get called in within 3 minutes, see a doctor (not a PA) who talks to you, cares, etc. etc.
