Christian Bale, star of the Batman films, is in town visiting victims of the Aurora movie theater shooting, Warner Brothers officials confirmed.

"Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers," said an assistant for Susan Fleishman, executive vice president for Warner Brothers corporate communications.

That's all there is.

It's a VERY classy move by Christian Bale to visit the victims of last Friday's shooting - so that the victims know that everyone is thinking about them - even Batman himself.

He just earned more respect from me - I loved him in "American Psycho" - and I haven't yet SEEN any of Bale Batman movies - but now I think I will go out and buy his movies.
