2. We should definitely predicate limiting of rights based on public opinion, right?

Poor Wintermute, Azreal, and Kellerman- they just can't understand why public opinion is going opposite the direction they want! It's a mystery, wrapped in an enigma!

All rights should have polling attached. If it's not popular, the right shouldn't be protected! Amirite? Onerous voter ID laws? Popular! Protecting LGBTQ folks from discrimination? Not 50.1% popular, so hold your horses right there, buddy!
