Right-wing Christians want World War 3 to start as soon as possible. That way they can all die and MAYBE go to heaven. This is why they would welcome the end of humanity. It's why they don't care about global warming. It's why they watch Fox pushing for a Civil War in America. They all want the same thing, to die and prove their faith is real. They don't care about their children's lives, yours, or mine. They care about a ridiculous religion based on myths, lies and superstitions from two thousand years ago. If the World can end in their lifetimes they will be completely happy, they think. Every one of them is NUTS.
