Which stands to reason since most Colombian governments (particularly Uribe's) have aided and abetted them - so there's plenty to forgive on both sides.

The problem now, though, is that while President Santos and the FARC really are making a good-faith effort toward peace, Uribe and his paramilitary allies are not - and neither are Narco Rubio or the current occupant of the White House.
